Las Vegas-based skincare company is recalling its sunscreen foundation due to higher than acceptable levels of mold found in some tubes. The product, called Impeccable Skin Sunscreen Foundation, was sold both online and in stores. While no adverse events have been reported, consumers are advised to stop using the product. Those who want a refund can contact the retailer, while those who prefer an exchange can reach out to the company directly. The mold, called Aspergillus sydowii, can cause allergic reactions and fungal skin infections. The contamination was detected after a customer noticed a strong odor in their product.
